the swimming pool at crawford lodge, bogor. it was raining so, no one use the pool.

kendang

kendang is a traditional percusion. you can find similar instrument from most islands in Indonesia. this type of kendang on the picture is from West Java.

bougainvillea

bougainvillea is one of the most popular flower in tropical land like indonesia. it comes with variety of color and i heard the hotter and dryer the place, the more flower it has. the indonesian name of the flower is kembang kertas (paper flower). maybe because the petals look like made of paper.

one of the street in bogor named after a person. i'm not sure who's the guy but i've never seen his name in any other cities. probably he's a local.

christmas is over. but some places still have the decoration days after it.

poffertjes

poffertjes are a traditional Dutch batter treat. poffertjes look like tiny pancakes, but they are much sweeter. last week i visited the cafe deDaunan and it was the second time I ordered these but now they were served with cherry on.

the flower is not coming from the bogor botanical garden collections, it's from the front yard of my rooming house. I don't know the name of the flower but love to see the color and the structure of it.
