comro maker

comro is sort name for oncom dijero, means oncom inside.
it's a food made from casava mixed with coconut, shaped in round, and filled with oncom inside then fried. this is one of my favorite food ;)

sweet potato gorengan

the gorengans (fried snack) are made of sweet potato. this is one of my favorite type of gorengan. but i like to buy them better from the street seller like this one.

the monkey at curug nangka

curug nangka is one of waterfall area around salak mountain, and there are a lot of monkeys around. but some people don't really respect the life there, they still throw the trash improperly.

taxi

i'm not sure if bogor has its own taxi. but since it's located only 60 km away from jakarta. you can find taxis from jakarta in bogor. like in the photo, the taxis were found in botani square.

Syzygium malaccense

It's the flower of Syzygium malaccense or locally we call it Jambu Bol. It grows at my office front yard.

the detail of beautiful roof supporters in an old house. the modern buildings nowadays are very rare to use this kind of detail. and look at this house, it even still uses bamboo underneath the roof tile.

this is the cappuccino that was served in best cafe in bellanova country mall, sentul. they use BIG cup. see the interior of the cafe here.

food for sale

it's macaroni schotel, klappertaart and pastel tutup, and they sell it door to door with this basket. you can find them around kebun raya dan bogor palace. i tried the klappertart at that time, and it was delicious, i liked it.

it was in a shop, selling furniture made of rattan. there chairs were hanging on the wall for display.

karedok is a sundanese food made of raw vegetables with peanut sauce. we usually eat it with kerupuk, like the one in the photo.

rumah gaya

starting in bandung, there are more and more factory outlet in cities in indonesia. the place sells brand items with much cheaper price because they're rejected items.
this one is called rumah gaya (house of style). located on pajajaran street, the shop is in a new orange grey building.

Tumpeng

It means rice shaped into some object (commonly mountain shape), and surrounded by kinds of garnish (chicken, tofu, tempe, vegetables etc). We make tumpeng for celebrating something (a party), and this one was for celebrating Indonesia independence day last August.

If I give a question, what are the differences between the biggest book and the others? Then the answers are: the biggest book is in Bahasa Indonesia and the others are in English, the biggest book is about history and the others are fiction. What’s history? It is The History of Java. Bogor is part of Java, West Java for more specific and the people are known as Sundanese. The differences characteristic between Sundanese and Javanese discuss in chapter six in this book.
