A quiet store at Pangrango Plaza

oleh-oleh

it's a habit for indonesian, if they go somewhere, bringing home some souvenirs for family and friends. The souvenir is called oleh-oleh. it can be food, like the ones for sale here: some crackers, traditional candies, etc.

ubi bakar cilembu

Roasted sweet potatoes. Cilembu is the variety of the sweet potatoes. The performance of the sweet potatoes is not interesting, but the taste is yummy.

lost bunny

the black little bunny belong to the neighbor was lost. i found her wondering around in the garden.

ketan bakar

ketan is sticky rice. for this one, they cook the rice (steamed, sometime with coconut milk or even the shredded coconut) and after they shaped it into block and grilled it!
the ketan bakar is served with serundeng (spicy dried coconut) or sometime with sambal oncom (oncom chili sauce.. my favourite!).

Statue in front of Taman Safari. Taman Safari (Safari Park) is the one and only park in Indonesia featuring wild animals roaming in their area. Here, the visitors will observe exotic and rare animals from their cars (or buses, if you're traveling in a group). Located in the hilly side of Cisarua, Bogor. Taman Safari is full of surprises and wonder. More than 2,500 animals from 271 species roam freely in this area. Where else in Indonesia you get to observe wild animals in their habitat? (cited from here). One of the interested program in Taman Safari called Night Safari (observe the wild animal at night).
