Sekoteng is traditional drink originally from central of java but you can find it in many areas in Indonesia especially in java including here in Bogor. Sekoteng is usually sold by a street vendor during the night. Sekoteng has a ginger taste and serve while still hot. It’s also has other ingredients such as mung bean, peanut and bread.

pempek is a famous food from the city of palembang in south sumatera. it made of fish and flour, dipped in black vinegar sauce.

i read somewhere, the best pempek in bogor is the one in front of ngesti supermarket. when i was there, i couldn't get any seat. i sat on the walkway and having this plate on my lap.
