This really appears to be hard and messy work. The cows probably don't mind, though. Those terraces in the background look lush and interesting ... future subject matter for another day?
Boy it took ages to get that paddy field up like this one is. A beautiful photograph of an age old farming method.

Buffaloes ploughing field with "bajak"! I can hardly see this today, not in Subang Jaya, the suburb where I live nor back in my hometown Melaka.
